Pink Ribbon License Plates

May 22, 2009 Pink Ribbon license plates are now available for purchase at most County Clerk offices. The cost is $60, and is available to any Tennessee resident who is registering a private passenger motor vehicle.  The Tennessee Legislature passed legislation that created the "Pink Ribbon" plate, and a portion of the proceeds from license plates purchased in Upper Cumberland counties will support local projects of the Upper Cumberland Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure.  If you currently have a regular license plate, you can pay the extra fee and trade it in for a Komen plate.

The goal of Susan G. Komen for the Cure is to save lives and end breast cancer forever by empowering people, ensuring quality care for all and energizing science to find a cure.

For more information about the Pink Ribbon License plate, contact your local County Clerk’s office.
